What does a Cosmetology license cover?

    With a Massachusetts cosmetology license, you can provide a variety of professional hair services, including cutting, styling, shampooing, blow-drying, coloring, highlighting, chemical treatments, permanent waving, and hair straightening.

  • Nails

    Expand your services with professional nail care, including manicures, pedicures, nail shaping and polishing, and other nail services within the cosmetologist’s permitted scope of practice.

  • Skin

    A cosmetology license also includes certain basic skincare and beauty services, such as facials, makeup application, and hair-removal services within the cosmetology scope of practice, giving you the opportunity to offer more than just hair services!
